X-rays

An x-ray is a quick, painless procedure that produces visual representations of the body’s internal structures, especially the bones.

X-rays pass through the body and are absorbed in different proportions depending on the density of the material they pass through. Dense materials, such as bones and metals, appear white on x-rays, while air in the lungs appears black. Fat and muscle are represented as gray shadows.

In certain types of X-rays, a dye (such as iodine or barium) is put into the body to improve the visualization of details in the images.

Our X-ray service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our reports are available quickly for an accurate diagnosis.
